About the Maintenance Technician Position
Parakeet Communities, LLC is a National Real Estate Investment Company which specializes in manufactured housing communities. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Bismarck, ND Area. This position will be responsible for multi-site maintenance.
Pay: $20.00 – 22.00/hr
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Demonstrates success in meeting aggressive timelines
- Handling emergencies after hours and on weekends as needed
- Experience/hands on knowledge of small construction projects, sewer back-ups and water main breaks
- Knowledge/Skills in the following areas:
- Landscaping-Basic grounds keeping, tree pruning.
- General Property Maintenance
- Construction (painting, drywall- plumbing a plus).
- Ability to operate mowers and heavy equipment
- Daily clean up of communities to ensure all debris/trash is picked up and the community is clean
- Resolve all safety issues
- Able to work in a structured environment where goals are met
- Walk through inventory homes weekly.
- Conduct work in homes as needed for light construction.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years experience in hospitality and/or property management
- Results-driven, positive attitude with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in English and in-depth knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Workspace (Rent Manager Experience a Plus)
- Strong planning and time management skills, with an ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliability, discretion, and confidentiality
- Flexible to work on occasional weekends when required
