Some of the best sunsets in FL can be seen over the Indian river from Central and you can even catch the occasional rocket launch at Kennedy Space Center from your backyard at this community!
Cape Canaveral is a seaward extension of Canaveral Island and a barrier island running southeastward along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. It is separated from Merritt Island to the west by the Banana River, and the island is separated from the mainland by the Indian River. The main attraction of the Cape Canaveral area is the site of operations for the U.S. space program under the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
